UP Cong demands judicial probe into Ujjwal Rana’s suicide

Lucknow, Nov 10 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai has demanded for a judicial inquiry, headed by a sitting High Court judge, into the suicide of Ujjwal Rana, a BA student from Budhana town in Muzaffarnagar district.
Rana, who was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, succumbed to his injuries late Sunday night.
Rai on Monday said that Ujjwal’s death in Muzaffarnagar, allegedly over an outstanding college fee of Rs 5,250, exposes the grim reality of the education system under both the central and state governments.
