UP ATS detains one more doctor in connection with Delhi blast

Lucknow, Nov 13 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has detained two more doctors hailing from Jammu and Kashmir for questioning in connection with the Delhi car bomb blast, sources said on Thursday.
On Thursday afternoon, ATS officials detained Dr. Farukh, a gynaecologist from Hapur’s GS Medical College. He was taken from his hostel. Earlier, on Wednesday night, Dr. Mohammad Arif (32), a cardiologist working at the Heart Disease Institute in Kanpur, was held for nterrogation. Both doctors have been taken to Delhi for questioning.
Preliminary investigation suggests that both Arif and Farukh were in contact with terror suspect Dr. Shahin. Sources claim that Arif was a classmate of Umar, one of the terrorists killed in the Delhi blast. The two had studied together in Jammu and Kashmir.
