UP ATS detains Kanpur Cardiologist in connection with Delhi blast probe

Kanpur, Nov 13 (UNI) Following the Delhi blast, the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has gone into action mode.
ATS officers detained Dr. Mohammad Arif, a cardiologist from Kanpur on Wednesday night.
Arif, who hails from Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir, is suspected to have links with individuals involved in anti-national activities.

New UP BJP President to be announced on Sunday, election process to start tomorrow

ED raids 25 locations linked to UP cough syrup syndicate

Lucknow, Dec 12 (UNI) The Enforcement Directorate (ED) today launched extensive raids across six cities as part of its money-laundering investigation into the illegal trade of codeine-based cough syrup in Uttar Pradesh. Beginning early in the morning, ED teams conducted searches at 25 locations connected to the suspected syndicate in Lucknow, Varanasi, Ranchi, Ahmedabad, Jaunpur and Saharanpur.
