Deoria (UP), Nov 13 (UNI) Three persons accused of killing a youth were arrested by the police after an encounter in Surauli area of Deoria district here in Uttar Pradesh, a police officer said here on Wednesday.
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sunil Kumar Singh said that on November 7, Shubham Singh alias Nihal Singh was shot dead near Jadu Parsia village. "The police have registered a case against unidentified persons. The police identified the miscreants on the basis of CCTV footage and other electronic evidence," he said.
He said that on Tuesday night acting on a tip off the police arrested Alok Kumar Rajbhar, Brijesh Goswami and Aman Giri after an encounter. "The accused sustained bullet injuries in their legs and they have been admitted to the medical college," he said.
