Union Budget: PM Modi holds meeting with leading economists

New Delhi, July 11 (UNI) Ahead of Union Budget 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday convened a meeting with leading economists here to discuss the fiscal strategies.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Industry experts, economists and Niti Aayog vice-chairman Suman Bery were present in the meeting and presented their recommendations to the Prime Minister.
The first budget of Modi-led government in its third term will be presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman in the Lok Sabha on July 23.
The Budget Session of Parliament will begin on July 22 and on the next day, Sitharaman will present the Union Budget 2024-25 in the lower house of Parliament.
