Under-construction tunnel collapses near Shimla

Shimla, Aug 13 (UNI) An under-construction tunnel on the Kalka-Shimla highway near Dhalli collapsed early Tuesday morning due to a landslide. No injury or casualty was reported, an official said.
The incident occurred in the four-lane tunnel being built near Chalaunthi, close to Sanjauli, Shimla.
On Monday evening, workers reported that stones and soil had started to come off within the tunnel. In response, all personnel and machinery were evacuated.
