Shimla, May 19 (UNI) Normal life in Himachal Pradesh was thrown out of gear owing to blistering heatwave sweeping across the state, with Una and Neri recording maximum temperature of 44 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
Also, maximum temperature at seven stations in the foothills was hovering above 40 degrees C for last two days.
The regional Meteorological Centre here recorded the highest temperature of 44 degrees C at Una, along Punjab border, and Neri in Hamirpur.
