Two killed in truck–three-wheeler collision in Bengal's Haldia

Kolkata, Oct 15 (UNI) Two persons, including a woman, were killed and five others seriously injured when an auto-rickshaw they were travelling in collided head-on with a truck in the East Medinipur industrial port city of Haldia today, police said.
Of the injured, three are in critical condition and have been admitted to a local hospital in Haldia, located about 120 km south of Kolkata.
The deceased have been identified as Suresh Mondal (59), a resident of Bishnuram Chak, Haldia, and Ranjana Pramanik (45) from Nandigram in East Medinipur.
