Sonbhadra (UP), May 16 (UNI) Two people were killed and eight others were injured when an auto rickshaw overturned in Pannuganj area of Sonbhadra district here in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that the auto rickshaw was going towards Ramgarh carrying passengers from Robertsganj. "As soon as it reached near Balodi village, it went out of control and overturned. Paras (60), Kumar (40), Kamalakant (60), Ram Adhar (50), Kamala (50), Kiran (8), Manju (25) and Vishwanath (60) were injured in the incident," they said.
Police sources said that on receiving the information, the police brought all of them to the Primary Health Center Tiera Chatra where Vishwanath and Sampat Devi were declared dead by the doctor. "The rest of the people are being given first aid," they said.
