Deoria (UP), Apr 13 (UNI) Two people were killed and one more was injured when an SUV rammed into a stationary truck in the Madanpur area of Deoria district here in Uttar Pradesh,a police officer said.
Circle Officer (CO) Rudrapur Anshuman Srivastava said that the incident took place near Terhwa village, where the SUV collided with the stationary truck late on Friday night.
"Manoj, Sanjay, and Krishna, who were travelling in the SUV, sustained serious injuries," he said.
He said that while Sanjay and Krishna died, Manoj was being treated at the hospital.
"The deceased and the injured are said to be residents of Rudrapur town. The bodies have been sent for postmortem examination," he said.
