Two arrested in connection with killing of six Naga individuals in Manipur

Imphal, Jul 18 (UNI) A joint team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), Manipur Police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) arrested two persons in connection with the abduction and killing of six Naga individuals, while security forces and police continued intensified operations across the state, leading to multiple arrests and recovery of arms and narcotics.
According to police, following investigation into the abduction and killing of six Naga individuals, two accused were arrested today.
They have been identified as Lungoulal Vaiphei, son of Paothenkam Vaiphei, a resident of Leilon Vaiphei village, Leimakhong in Kangpokpi district, and Lunminthang Sitlhou alias Jack, son of Paolen Sitlhou, a resident of Molhoi village, Leimakhong, Kangpokpi district. Police said further efforts are underway to apprehend other individuals connected with the case.
