TWID launches UPI App to transform everyday payments

New Delhi, Oct 6 (UNI) India’s prominent rewards-based payment network TWID today announced the launch of its ‘TWID UPI App’, introducing a new era where every UPI payment becomes more rewarding, an official statement said.
TWID, considered a revolutionary platform, converts fragmented and under utilized reward points into a universal, spendable currency.
With this new launch, TWID is blending the simplicity of Unified Payments Interface (UPI) with the power of rewards to help consumers unlock instant savings and exclusive loyalty benefits on their daily transactions.
The TWID new app will bring three new technologies for Indian consumers: (i) Aggregation of Reward Points, (ii) Pay with Rewards on UPI (iii) Introducing TWID Stars.
Amit Koshal, Co-founder and CEO of TWID, said, “TWID has scaled phenomenally well in the Online Merchant Payment Ecosystem with the help of its ecosystem partners–Issuers, Merchants, and Acquirers. With the launch of this app, Twid is adding a new dimension to India’s offline merchant digital payments landscape by turning reward points into a 365-day Savings for Scan & Pay payments too.”

This seamless experience is built entirely within the existing UPI journey, requiring no change in behaviour for either merchants or users. It transforms scattered, often-expanding reward balances into real money, available at the moment of purchase.
The current TWID platform supported over 1,00,000 online and offline merchants including Swiggy, JioMart, MakeMyTrip, BookMyShow, MyJio, Ixigo, ConfirmTKT, Vi, redBus, McDonald’s, Licious, and more. Moreover, it’s also connected to issuers with a reward pool exceeding USD 2.3 billion.
This company has partnered with around 15 issuers, including major partners such as IndusInd Bank, Yes Bank, BOB Card, Flipkart SuperCoin, Zillion, Jupiter Jewels, CRED and more.
The latest, which is introduced via the Twid App, is now live in collaboration with these merchants for UPI payments.
This will enhance platform value for issuers by boosting the visibility and utilisation of loyalty programs and also offer merchants a powerful new incentive layer that drives footfall, conversions, and customer engagement.
