TV actor Anuj Sachdeva attacked in Goregaon with rod over parking dispute

Mumbai, Dec 16 (UNI) Actor Anuj Sachdeva, known for his roles in television shows like 'Phir Subah Hogi' and 'Itti Si Khushi', was assaulted in public in a shocking incident that left him injured.
Taking to Instagram, Anuj shared details of the assault, alleging that a man attacked him and his pet dog with a rod after the actor reported a case of wrongful parking within his housing society.
In his post, Anuj said the incident occurred at Harmony Mall Residency in Goregaon West.
“I am posting this evidence before this person tries to do any damage to me or my property. He tried hitting my dog and me with a rod for notifying the society group regarding his car, which was parked in the wrong place in the society parking,” Anuj wrote in his caption.
The actor stated that he sustained a head injury and was left bleeding following the attack. He also urged people to share the post to ensure further action is taken.
The post includes a video showing an agitated man approaching Anuj with a rod in hand. The situation quickly escalated as the attacker struck the actor, hurled abuses, and issued threats.
The altercation ended when a security guard intervened, dragging the attacker away. Moments later, a visibly injured Anuj is seen addressing the camera, revealing the extent of his injuries.
The video quickly went viral, prompting an outpouring of concern from social media users. Many urged the actor to file a police complaint, with one user commenting, “Hope you are okay.
He needs to be behind bars. These are the real threats to society,” while another wrote, “Please file a police complaint without any delay.” Further details regarding the incident are awaited.
