TTD Addl EO asks millers to supply superior quality for Annaprasadams to devotees

Tirumala, Nov 13 (UNI) TTD Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary on Thursday asked the Rice Millers Association of AP and Telangana to supply superior quality for serving Annaprasadams to devotees with enhanced taste.
Chowdary, who held a meeting with the Rice millers here, instructed the officials concerned to allow the rice served to devotees in Annaprasadam only after thoroughly checking the cooked sample for its taste
Rice millers should submit a monthly schedule on rice supply to TTD officials so as to make advance arrangements to suffice the pilgrim needs in a better way, he said in a day, nearly 20 thousand kilos of rice is used for making Annaprasadam for Tirumala, Tiruchanoor and other local temples.
