TRUZON Solar plans Rs 200 Cr BESS project in next fiscal

Hyderabad, March 11(UNI) RUZON Solar, a solar solutions provider operating under Suntek Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd., plans to set up a ₹200-crore Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in the next financial year as part of its expansion in the renewable energy sector.
According to Founder and Managing Director Charugundla Bhavani Suresh, the proposed BESS facility would be established either in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh, with the final location to be decided after the first half of the year.
Suresh also confirmed strategic investments in the company from Indian cricketers Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma, members of India’s ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026–winning squad.
The value of their investments will be disclosed at a later stage, he said, adding that the move reflects investor confidence in the company’s long-term vision and India’s clean energy transition.
In last year, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar invested ₹3.6 crore in Suntek Energy Systems Pvt Ltd, acquiring a 2 per cent stake, while Telugu actor Mahesh Babu serves as the brand ambassador for TRUZON Solar.
TRUZON Solar currently operates across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh, and plans to expand into Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Odisha in the next phase of growth.

New Delhi, Apr 13 (UNI) The retail inflation for the month of March has been recorded at 3.40% on a year-on-year (yoy) basis. Corresponding inflation rates for rural and urban are 3.63% and 3.11%, respectively, data released by the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoSPI) said.
Food inflation for March is 3.87% (Provisional) with the corresponding inflation rates for rural and urban are 3.96% and 3.71%, respectively. The MoSPI data said the onion prices fell by over 27 per cent, while potatoes saw a decline of nearly 19 per cent.
