Trump mocks Iran over its apology to Middle East countries, calls Iran 'Loser of the Middle East'

New Delhi, Mar 7 (UNI) US President Donald Trump on Saturday mocked Iran for ‘’apologising’’ to Gulf countries over Tehran’s attacks on them, describing it (Iran) as the ‘’loser of the Middle East,’’ and asserted that Iran would be hit very hard until they surrender or completely collapse.
Trump said on his social media platform that Iran, which is being ‘’beaten to hell’’, has apologised and surrendered to its Middle East neighbours, and promised that it will not shoot at them anymore. He said this promise was only made because of the relentless US and Israeli attack.
He said Iran was looking to take over and rule the Middle East. It is the first time that Iran has ever lost, in thousands of years, to surrounding Middle Eastern Countries, he added.
Trump said Middle Eastern countries had thanked him. “Thank you, President Trump.” I have said, “You’re welcome!”
He said Iran is no longer the “Bully of the Middle East.” ‘’They are instead THE LOSER OF THE MIDDLE EAST” and will be for many decades until they surrender or, more likely, completely collapse!’’
He warned that Iran would be ‘’hit very hard’’ today. Areas and groups of people that were not considered for targeting until this moment in time are now under serious consideration for destruction and certain death because of Iran’s ‘’bad behaviour,’’ he said.
Trump was commenting on Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s apology to Gulf nations in an address on Saturday morning. Pezeshkian said Tehran would stop striking its neighbours unless attacks on Iran were provoked.
President Pezeshkian said the interim leadership council has approved a policy to avoid attacking neighbouring countries unless provoked. He also apologised for the strikes carried out in recent days.
Speaking on state television, Pezeshkian said, “I personally apologise to the neighbouring countries attacked by Iran. We do not intend to attack neighbouring countries. As I have repeatedly said, they are our brothers.”
