Trump campaign believes hackers stole documents related to finance

Washington, Aug 14 (UNI) US Former President Donald Trump’s campaign believes the hackers who recently attacked their headquarters, have stolen several documents including those pertaining to financial issues, though none of them were “hugely sensitive,” The Washington Post newspaper reported on Wednesday, citing sources familiar with the matter.
The Trump campaign has said that it had been targeted by Iranian hackers who allegedly stole some data and distributed them to several US media outlets that there is no proof so far.
The Trump campaign officials do not seem troubled by the possible information leak and compromise, the newspaper said. Over the recent months, the campaign's email accounts were exposed to several other infiltration attempts by other countries, an official told the media. UNI/SPUTNIK AT SSP
