Trump after delay of hush money sentencing says case should be terminated

Washington, Sep 6 (UNI) Former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said on Friday that the “hush money” case against him at the New York Supreme Court should be terminated after the judge postponed the sentencing until after the election in November.
“This case should be rightfully terminated, as we prepare for the Most Important Election in the History of our Country,” Trump said in a Truth Social post.
Earlier on Friday, New York Supreme Court Judge Juan Merchan delayed a sentencing hearing in the so-called "hush money" case involving Trump until November 26 so as not to interfere with the 2024 US presidential race.
