Trump administration notifies Israel of its plans to deploy additional refuelling aircraft amid plans for wider offensive against Iran

Washington/Jerusalem, Jul 18 (UNI) The Trump administration has notified Israel of its plans to deploy dozens more US military refuelling aircraft to the country ahead of a possible expansion of operations against Iran, according to three US and Israeli officials.
The move comes amid US President Donald Trump weighing plans for launching a broader military campaign following a Situation Room meeting on Tuesday, where he was presented with several new operational plans.
According to the officials, options under consideration include strikes on Iranian infrastructure such as power plants, additional attacks on nuclear facilities aimed at burying Iran's enriched uranium even deeper underground, and a strike on the underground Pickaxe Mountain site, which is suspected of being a developing nuclear facility.
