Tripura CM allocates Panchayat and Higher Education to Kishore Barman

Agartala, July 11 (UNI) Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha today allocated Panchayat, Higher Education, and General Administration (Political) to newly inducted minister Kishore Barman, who has been in charge of these departments with the CM since the government was formed in 2023.
Chief Secretary J. K. Sinha, in a notification, said that the Governor of Tripura, on the advice of the Chief Minister, has allocated these portfolios to Barman with immediate effect under Rule-5 of the Rules of Executive Business of the State Government.
This decision is seen as a significant move, especially with the inclusion of higher education and Panchayat, two critical sectors for grassroots development and youth empowerment in the state.
