Tripura cabinet congratulates PM for Operation Sindoor

Agartala, May 16 (UNI) The Tripura state cabinet, led by Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, on Friday extended its congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian armed forces for the successful execution of Operation Sindoor against Pakistan-aided terrorists.
Government spokesperson Sushanta Chowdhury, who is also the Tourism Minister, said the operation was carried out in response to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which claimed the lives of 25 Indians and a Nepali citizen.
In the Cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Dr Saha presented a resolution on behalf of the state government, which was unanimously passed by the council of ministers. The message hailed Operation Sindoor as a "befitting response" by the Indian Army to the Pakistan-sponsored terrorist attack and lauded the brave soldiers for their decisive action in suppressing militancy in the region.
