Tripura allocated Rs 6.23 Cr for digital learning of students

Agartala, March 12 (UNI) Tripura government has allocated over Rs 6.23 Cr under the Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana (MYYY) for the academic year 2024-25 to promote digital learning among students enrolled in government colleges across the state.
The initiative demonstrates the stat e government's dedication to empowering students by enhancing educational facilities and expanding access to digital learning resources, said Secretary of Information Technology Kiran Gitte.
He stated that as part of the scheme, a one-time smartphone grant of Rs. 5,000 will be provided to 12,478 eligible final-year students studying in government colleges throughout the state. This financial assistance aims to enable students to purchase smartphones, granting them access to online learning platforms, digital academic resources, and other educational tools.
