Tributes paid to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on birth anniversary: TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud

Hyderabad, Feb 19 (UNI) Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud on Thursday paid rich tributes to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of Swarajya, on his birth anniversary.
Remembering Shivaji Maharaj as one of the greatest leaders in Indian history, Mahesh Kumar Goud said the Maratha warrior earned a permanent place in history through his patriotism, extraordinary courage and remarkable administrative skills.
“Shivaji Maharaj was a visionary leader who safeguarded the self-respect of the people. He stood as an ideal of social equality, religious tolerance and stable governance. He worked relentlessly for the security and welfare of the people and successfully established Swarajya. His life and ideals continue to inspire generations,” he said in a statement.
