Travis Scott to perform in India for the first time in October

New Delhi, Mar 26 (UNI) Hip-hop fans in India are in for a treat! Much feted American rapper and record producer Travis Scott is all set to perform in the country for the first time on October 18, 2025, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here.
The rapper himself confirmed the news through a social media post, where he hinted at upcoming tour stops in Africa, India, South Korea, China, and Japan.
This much-awaited concert is one of the concerts of his current Circus Maximus World Tour, which has been creating waves around the world. BookMyShow, the official ticketing website, posted the news, exciting fans with a post that read: "We waited for this one. We prayed for this one. Now it's time to lose our minds. Let's rage like never before."
Scott's Circus Maximus World Tour is in connection with his 2023 album, Utopia, that has been a chartbuster.
The tour started on October 11, 2023, in North Carolina and will wrap up on November 8, 2025, in Tokyo, Japan.
Famous for his high-energy live shows, Travis Scott's Indian debut is expected to be among the biggest music events this year.
For those who don't know Travis Scott, he is a worldwide hip-hop legend. With five no.1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and more than 100 charting tracks, he has amassed a huge following globally.
Scott has accumulated several awards over the years, including a Latin Grammy, a Billboard Music Award, and a few BET Hip Hop Awards.
His musical style is a fusion of old-school hip-hop with lo-fi, ambient textures, and he usually names Kanye West and Kid Cudi as his greatest influences.
Scott's professional career gained momentum after he inked his initial major label contract with Epic Records in 2012, and shortly afterwards, a publishing contract with Kanye West's GOOD Music.
His major breakthrough came when he released his first studio album, Rodeo (2015), which had the hit single 'Antidote'. His second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), reached the Billboard 200 top, establishing him firmly in the rap world.
