Top Diplomats of Gulf Council states discuss Ukraine conflict with Lavrov

Riyadh, Sep 9 (UNI) Foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov have discussed the Ukrainian conflict and international efforts to resolve it, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.
In the course of the meeting, the officials discussed the latest developments within the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, talked about international efforts towards political settlement of the crisis as well as reaffirmed their support for all efforts aimed at reaching international security and peace, the news agency reported.
The ministers also touched upon a number of issues at the meeting, including enhancing joint coordination on regional and international issues, and strengthening economic cooperation and achieving sustainable development goals, the news agency reported. UNI/SPUTNIK AKS
