Toddler dies in leopard attack in Nashik village

Nashik, Sep 13 (UNI) A one-and-a-half-year-old boy was killed after being attacked by a leopard in Khadangali village this evening. The leopard reportedly dragged the child from a bag he was sleeping in.
The deceased child has been identified as Golu Yuvraj Shingade. He was the son of a labourer from Peth taluka who had come to the area for agricultural work.
According to sources, the child was sleeping in a chawl while his parents were away working in a maize field. The leopard entered the chawl, took the child, and carried him to a sugarcane field located 200 metres away, where the attack occurred.
