TN: Two youths die of suspected suffocation in Kodaikanal

Dindigul (Tamil Nadu) Aug 10 (UNI) A pleasure trip to the hill station of Kodaikanal turned tragic, as two youths died of suspected suffocation, as they fell asleep after leaving a charcoal stove burning inside a room of a private cottage at Chinnapallam locality.
Police said four youths, identified as Ananda Babu, Jayakannan, Sivasankar and his brother Sivaraj, hailing from Tiruchirapalli district went to Kodaikanal hill in Dindigul district on Friday morning. They booked a cottage and enjoyed a few tourist spots.
Before returning to their rooms, the quartet purchased liquor bottles, chicken, charcoal and stove.
