TN's fight is against Modi government's arrogance and injustice towards Tamils: Stalin

Chennai, Oct 5(UNI) Countering Governor RN Ravi's jibe against whom the State is carrying its fight, Chief Minister and DMK president MK Stalin on Sunday reiterated that it was taking head on the conspiratorial and arrogant union Government perpetrating injustice to Tamils and Tamil Nadu. "We wage a relentless fight to prevent those keeping religious fanaticism on top of their heads and bound to religion over everything else raising their ugly hood as they hinder the nation's development.The fight is against antidemocratic fascist forces oppressing elected governments denigrating the will of the people," he said in a lengthy rejoinder, posted on'X'.
At an event, Governor Ravi had questioned the Chief Minister's oft repeated slogan "Tamil Nadu will fight and emerge victorious", sparking off a fresh round of confrontation between the Raj Bhavan and the DMK government.
Listing a litany of issues from withholding of SSA funds as a tool to impose Hindi, NEET and dumping of the Keezhadi excavation report, authenticating Tamil's antiquity over Sanskrit, he made it clear that the struggle was also to protect the country. "The State is determined to fight against the conspiracy aimed at pushing back by 100 years through narratives based on superstitions and mythological stories to blunt scientific temper among students.
