TN: Homage paid to ex-MLA and AIADMK leader Karuppasamy Pandian

Tirunelveli (TN), Mar 27 (UNI) AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K.Palaniswami on Thursday paid homage to former Legislator and one of the organising secretaries of the party, V.Karuppasamy Pandian, who passed away at Thiruththu near Palayamkottai in Tirunelveli on Wednesday.
Palaniswami accompanied by senior AIADMK leaders visited the house, placed a wreath on the body of Pandian and paid homage. He consoled his family members.
Talking to newsmen, Palaniswamy said Karuppasamy Pandian was one of the pillars of the AIADMK. He served effectively as party’s deputy general secretary during Jayalalitha’s regime. He was highly respected by the people of Southern districts and his demise is a big loss to the party, he added.
