TN Guv identifies 4 key challenges facing the state, takes dig at DMK regime on declining education stds

Chennai, Aug 14 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi today identified four key challenges--educational and social discrimination of the poor and marginalised; alarming rise in suicides; fast spreading drug abuse among our youth; and steep rise in rape and other sexual offences against women and girl children--facing the State.
Amid differences between the ruling DMK and the Raj Bhavan over a host of issues, the Governor,
picked holes in the government functioning and expressed his dismay over the declining standard of education in schools with the learning outcome of the student far below than the national average.
