Tiger snatches girl in Sitapur, search operation underway

Sitapur (UP), Sep 18 (UNI) A tiger attacked and carried off an 18-year-old girl in Rathourpur village, under Machhrehata police station limits in Sitapur district today.
The victim, identified as Kamini, had gone out for her morning routine around 6 am with her mother, Prema, when the attack occurred.
According to Prema, the tiger suddenly emerged from nearby fields, causing panic. Before they could flee, the tiger pounced on Kamini, grabbing her by the neck. Despite Prema’s desperate attempts to save her daughter, the tiger dragged Kamini away and disappeared into the surrounding forested area.
