Three killed in rain-related incidents in north Kerala

Kannur, June 17 (UNI) A three-year-old child was swept away in a stream while playing near her house at Annassery in Kozhikode district, on Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Nakshathra, daughter of K Nikhil of Annassery. The body was fished out by the fire and rescue personnel about one kilometre away from the accident spot, and shifted to Kozhikode Medical College hospital for post-mortem.
The bodies of two missing persons, who were washed away in a stream and a river at Kasaragod and Kannur, were recovered by the local residents on Tuesday morning.
