Three electrocuted, five injured in Deoria

Deoria (UP), May 23 (UNI) Three persons were electrocuted and five others were injured due to electric shock when a live wire came in touch with a tin shed they were installing in Lar area of Deoria district here in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, a senior officer said here.
District Magistrate Divya Mittal said that a person was erecting a tin shed in Janua village of Lar area on Friday evening and some people of the village were helping in lifting the shed. "During this an electric wire touched the tin shed and due to which current passed through it," she said.
She said that eight persons sustained injuries in the incident of which three people have died. "In this accident three persons are admitted in CHC and two people are being treated in Deoria Medical College. Their condition is stable," she said.
