Three arms dealers nabbed in Manipur

Imphal, May 14 (UNI) Security forces arrested three alleged illegal arm dealers, including a cadre of a militant outfit from Puhkhao Ahallup Makha Leikai, Imphal East District.
The arrested persons were involved in the illicit trafficking and transaction of illegal arms and ammunition in the Pukhao area, Imphal East District, police said on Wednesday.
They were purportedly waiting for an illegal arms smuggler/buyer at Pukhao Ahallup Makha Leikai to sell arms and ammunition at the cost of Rs 3.5 lakh.
From them, one INSAS rifle with a magazine and 8 7.62 mm rifle cartridges were recovered, according to police.
