Those responsible for managing security situation should bring situation under control: Omar Abdullah

Srinagar, July 17 (UNI) Amid the rise in attacks in Jammu region, National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah on Wednesday hit out at the government saying while they have been claiming that militancy was on its last legs, but the ground situation was telling a different story.
He said that those who are responsible for managing the security situation should take the responsibility and bring the situation under control.
“The responsibility has to be set. Who is responsible for managing the security situation? They (government) have to handle their responsibility... We hope that the government keeping in view the situation will take some appropriate steps to control the situation in Jammu division”, Omar told media persons in Srinagar on Wednesday. ,
