Thief held by GRP in Madhya Pradesh

Betul, Sep 14 (UNI) Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel have arrested a thief from Amla in Betul district who allegedly targeted women passengers travelling on trains.
According to the GRP, the accused, identified as Mukhtyar Singh Khan of New Delhi, used to book sleeper coach reservations and steal ornaments and cash from female passengers at night while they were asleep.
A team led by Sub-Inspector Pramod Patil, in coordination with the Cyber Cell in Bhopal and the Railway Protection Force, tracked the suspect using technical analysis, reservation charts, mobile location data and CCTV footage. Gold and silver ornaments along with cash amounting to Rs 8.35 lakh were recovered.
