Mumbai, Jul 21 (UNI) Maharashtra’s political arena has plunged into deep turmoil after farm leader and politician MLC Sadabhau Khot launched a vicious verbal assault on students and aspirants protesting at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar over the NEET paper leak scandal, shockingly branding them as "terrorists".
Khot's inflammatory remarks—in which he demanded that the government crush these agitators using democratic means—have unleashed a massive political firestorm, drawing fierce condemnation not just from the opposition, but triggering immediate friction within the ruling alliance's own ranks.
Khot aggressively defended union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan against mounting calls for his resignation. Claiming that a deep-rooted conspiracy is at play, Khot asserted that Pradhan has no direct connection to the exam irregularities.
