The compelling genesis of 'Do Deewane Seher Mein' comes to light

Mumbai, Feb 16 (UNI) Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali reportedly knew he had encountered something special the moment he first heard the story of "Do Deewane Sehar Mein", he immediately felt the need to bring the story to the screen.
Zee Studios and Bhansali Productions' "Do Deewane Seher Mein" has been generating considerable buzz ever since its teaser and songs were released. The team has been continuously sharing videos of the film's lead actors, Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi, showcasing their sizzling chemistry.
According to a source close to the film, the project found its true identity when writer Abhiruchi first narrated the story to Bhansali.
"When Abhiruchi narrated the story to Sanjay Leela Bhansali, he immediately felt a deep connection with the characters of Roshni and Shashank. There was no hesitation, he knew this narrative deserved to be translated onto the big screen. From that moment on, the journey of casting the right actors for these two roles has been a memorable one. It became a process."
Known for his grand stories and depth of characters, Bhansali reportedly spent considerable time choosing actors who could portray the roles of Roshni and Shashank, like Mrinal and Siddhant, with both innocence and intensity.
The casting decision of Mrunal and Siddhant is believed to have been a very deliberate and meticulous one. The initial glimpses of the film and their bonding in the viral videos have already sparked discussions about their chemistry and the depth of the story.
Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film will hit the theatres on February 20. UNI NST SSP
