TGCSB refunds Rs 40.8 cr for cybercrime victims through Lok Adalat

Hyderabad, Sep 14 (UNI) In a major relief for cyber fraud victims, the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB), in coordination with the Telangana State Legal Services Authority, police commissioners, and district SPs, facilitated refunds worth Rs 40.86 crore during the third National Mega Lok Adalat of 2025.

On September 13 alone, refund orders amounting to Rs 12.94 crore were issued to 4,539 victims of cybercrime. In addition, pre-Lok Adalat disposals accounted for Rs 27.91 crore to 2,501 victims, bringing the total beneficiaries of this edition to 7,040.
