Tesla shuts Dojo Supercomputer team as VP Bannon leaves the company

New Delhi, Aug 8 (UNI) Tesla is shutting down its Dojo Supercomputer operations amid Peter Bannon's departure from the company.
The Dojo Supercomputer was created to assist in the vast amounts of data and video from Tesla EVs.
Reportedly, CEO Elon Musk has made the decision to disband the team and assign new tasks to the workers.
Peter Bannon was a key executive behind Tesla’s groundbreaking technologies. Bannon was leading the team that created full self-driving computer ‘Dojo’, which is fueling its vehicles.
It was a custom-built system focused on training machine learning models.
Over the past few months, Tesla has made several key decisions related to hiring key executives in important positions, investing heavily in AI and its related technologies, and prioritizing self-driving technology.
Tesla has also entered the market of search spectrum by integrating the Grok Chatbot into its vehicles and is expected to showcase ‘Cybercab’, which is a fully autonomous electric robotaxi designed by Tesla.

Noel Tata to quit Tata Group co-boards before 70th birthday
