Teresa Palmer joins Chris Hemsworth in high-stakes thriller 'Subversion'

Los Angeles, Sep 15 (UNI) Teresa Palmer has signed on to star in the forthcoming thriller "Subversion", further bolstering the already star-studded ensemble led by Chris Hemsworth.
Helmed by Patrick Vollrath (7500), the feature follows a once-distinguished naval commander (Hemsworth) who is forced into steering a submarine carrying illicit cargo across international waters. The vessel's perilous voyage is shadowed by an unrelenting Coast Guard officer, played by Lily James, setting the stage for a high-octane maritime cat and mouse pursuit.
"Subversion" centers on a formerly respected naval commander (Hemsworth) who is blackmailed into piloting a submarine loaded with illegal cargo across international waters. Adding to the conflict is a Coast Guard officer (James) in hot pursuit of the vessel, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
In addition to David Leitch’s 'The Fall Guy' that hit theaters last year, Palmer is known for such features as "Hacksaw Ridge", "Warm Bodies" and Terrence Malick’s "Knight of Cups". Palmer’s series work includes AMC’s "A Discovery of Witches" and Disney’s "The Clearing".
The actress will soon appear in the movie "Bear Country" with Russell Crowe, Nina Dobrev and Aaron Paul. Her other forthcoming credits include Orion’s "4 Kids Walk Into a Bank", which co-stars Liam Neeson, Talia Ryder and Whitney Peak and counts Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg as producers.
Palmer is represented by CAA, Entertainment 360, Shanahan Management and Sloane Offer.
