Tensions prevail in Telangana-AP border areas

Hyderabad, Sep 24 (UNI) Tensions escalated in the border regions of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh as IT employees gave a call to organize a car rally from Hyderabad on Sunday, under the banner of "Chalo Rajahmundry," to protest the arrest of former Chief Minister and TDP National President N Chandrababu Naidu in a skill scam case by the AP government.
The police have clarified that no permission has been granted for such rallies and yatras led by IT employees, imposing strict restrictions and warning of severe actions against rule violations.
In response to the rally, extensive police deployments were made along the Andhra Pradesh-Telangana border. Stringent vehicle checks were carried out by the police for every entry into Andhra Pradesh.
