Ten thousand teachers take out huge morcha to press various demands in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, July 11 (UNI) About ten thousand teachers of primary, secondary and higher secondary schools from the district today took out a huge morcha to the district collector office to press their various pending demands, including to protest many "unjust" government resolutions (GR).
The protest was organized by the Education Forum, District Headquarters organization and Kolhapur District Institutions Owner Organization.
Thousands of teachers from primary, secondary and higher secondary schools, gathered at historic Dasara Chowk this afternoon and took out a huge morcha to the district collector office, and shouted slogans against the state government for its failure to fulfil their various pending demands, including to recruit teachers through portal, to implement GR of 27 August, 2015, and implement old pension scheme for teachers and others.
