Telangana: Waqf Board Inspector Caught Taking Rs ₹10,000 Bribe in Nalgonda

Hyderabad, June 6 (UNI) The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today caught a Waqf Board Inspector of Nalgonda district allegedly while accepting a bribe of Rs ₹10,000 from a complainant.
The accused officer Shaik Mahmood was trapped by the ACB's Nalgonda Range Unit after he allegedly demanded and accepted the bribe for extending an official favour.
The officer was reportedly seeking the amount for submitting a factual report to the Chief Executive Officer of the Waqf Board, Hyderabad, regarding a complaint related to the registration of Jaame Masjid Abubakar Siddiq Rahmatulla Alai property at Peddavoora in Waqf Board records.
