Telangana to organise ‘Youth & Sports Week’ from May 18 under Praja Palana Pragathi Programme

Hyderabad, May 16 (UNI) The Telangana Government will organise “Youth & Sports Week” from May 18 to 23 across the State as part of the 99-day “Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika” programme aimed at ensuring government services directly reach citizens.
The week-long programme is being implemented by the Department of Youth Services and Sports with the objective of promoting physical fitness, youth empowerment, leadership development, social responsibility and employment opportunities among young people.
According to officials, a series of innovative youth and sports activities will be organised at the State, District and Mandal levels with participation from youth organisations, sportspersons, students, volunteers, public representatives and the general public.
