Telangana to hand over 553 RTC buses to women SHGs under Indira Mahila Shakti scheme

Hyderabad, June 8 (UNI): Telangana Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao on Monday said the state government will hand over 553 RTC buses to women Self-Help Groups across Telangana under the ‘Indira Mahila Shakti’ scheme at a programme to be held on Tuesday at the Secunderabad Parade Grounds.
The Chief Secretary reviewed arrangements for the event at the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat along with Ministers D. Anasuya Seethakka and Ponnam Prabhakar, and MP Vem Narender Reddy.
Ramakrishna Rao said Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was giving special priority to women’s empowerment, self-employment and rural economic development as part of the ‘Telangana Rising-2047’ vision.
