Telangana: Task force nabs inter-state drug peddler from Odisha

Hyderabad, Apr 29 (UNI) The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force Central Zone team have nabbed a 29-year-old Inter-state drug peddler from Odisha for illegally transporting ganja from Odisha to Secunderabad here.
On credible information, the task force along with Ramgopalpet Police on Monday apprehended inter--state drug peddler, identified as Sunil Bindhani alias Milu, a fast food vendor, native of Phulbani (Dist), Odisha State, at Ranigunj X road in the city, while he was illegally procuring and transporting ganja from Sadingia, Odisha to the city and trying to sell it to prospective customers at higher price for monetary gain.
Police seized 1,110 grams of ganja and cell phone from his possession, said Y V S Sudheendra , Deputy Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task force, in a release here on Tuesday.

DVAC raids Ex-AIADMK Minister premises in DA case

Chennai, May 17 (UNI) The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) on
Saturday conducted searches at the residences of former AIADMK Minister Sevur
S. Ramachandran, a sitting MLA from the Arani Assembly constituency, at Sevur
village near Arani town in Tiruvannamalai district for allegedly amassing wealth
disproportionate to his known sources of income when he was serving as HR and
CE Minister during the previous AIADMK regime.
Reports said the raids were also carried out at locations linked to his two sons,
Vijayakumar and Santoshkumar, in Tiruvannamalai and Vellore districts respectively.
