Telangana sets sights on olympics 2036; unveils major sports technology initiatives

Hyderabad, Dec 6 (UNI) Telangana government has announced a bold sporting vision, ensuring the state fields athletes in every discipline India competes in at the 2036 Olympic Games.
The declaration was made by Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary, during the Sports Tech Podium 2025, a landmark event held at T-Hub on Saturday.
“Our Olympic mission was clear from the moment we drafted the Telangana Sports Policy. We want Telangana athletes present in every sport India participates in at the 2036 Olympics,” Ranjan said, speaking as Chief Guest at a panel discussion titled ‘Grassroots to Global: India’s Sports Tech Rise’.
