Telangana: NDSA report on Kaleshwaram an indictment of BRS govt : Uttam

Hyderabad, Apr 25 (UNI) Telangana Irrigation Minister Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Friday said the National Dam Safety Authority’s (NDSA) report on the Kaleshwaram Project was a 'direct indictment of the previous BRS government', exposing serious flaws in its design, construction, and maintenance.
"The NDSA in its report clearly stated that the design was faulty, construction was faulty, operation and maintenance were faulty. Soil testing was not done properly, and no proper geophysical investigations were conducted," Uttam told reporters on the sidelines of the two-day Bharat Summit organised by the state government, which commenced here.
Launching a blistering attack on the BRS leadership, the minister stated that the "BRS leaders should have some shame.

Telangana: Ordnance Factory Medak successfully completes annual Amphibious Trials of BMP-II Variants

Hyderabad, Dec 12 (UNI) : Ordnance Factory Medak (OFM) conducted the annual flotation trials of Infantry Combat Vehicles (BMP-II and its variants), indigenously manufactured at its Yeddumailaram facility in Sangareddy. The trials were held at Malkapur Lake (Pedda Cheruvu) on Friday, under the supervision of S.S. Prasad, Chief General Manager, OF Medak, a defence release said here.
