Telangana: Musi Project Land Grab, Not Beautification: BRS

Hyderabad, March 14 (UNI) The main opposition Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) on Saturday alleged that the Congress government's proposed Musi River project is not a genuine beautification initiative but a 'massive land grab scheme' targeting valuable lands along the river.
Addressing a programme titled "Musi Rejuvenation – PowerPoint Presentation vs Public Point" near Himayat Sagar, BRS working President K T Ramama Rao (KTR) said the river can be developed without demolishing houses or harming residents.
He said that our Bharat Rashtra Samithi government had already developed nearly six kilometres of the Musi river stretch in Uppal and Nagole without demolishing a single house.
